Okay, as promised I'm back...for this week anyway :)
I had my first SU workshop in the beginning of August and we made these 2 projects.
The first one was a simple A2 card that they loved creating. I got to show them the spotlighting technique and showcased several SU products.
I used Rich Razzleberry CS (119942)as the base. I LOVE THIS COLOR and it's starting to become one of my favorites! I used Pear Pizazz (a new in-color for the next 2 years) (119795) to accent the card. Stock up on this CS as it's one of everyone's favorites!
I used the Herb Expressions stamp set (#113224)as the focal image and I spotlighted at portion of the stamp and popped it up w/ dimensionals.
I used the scallop trim border punch (118402) to accent the pear pizazz piece and I sponged around the whisper white focal image w/ soft suede classic ink pad (115657)
Finally I used the newest bling (basic rhinestones 119246)that SU sells and put 3 rhinestones at the corner.
The next project was a gum holder. I used the simple friendship stamp set (113397) which is one of my favorites and then I used the butterfly sizzlet dies to make the small butterflies.
I had them color the images with SU markers or the markers of their choice and I used the tiniest rhinestones out for the basic rhinestones set to accent the flower centers. I also applied the 2 way glue pen to other flower centers and also on the "bumps" of the larger butterfly and the border of the smaller one so they could use dazzling diamonds fine glitter (102023).
Finally as a treat for all of the guests, I used the petal card Extra-large double punch (119273) to make this little candy holder for them. I used the level 2 stamp set Cute by the inch (120130) for the sentiment.
All in all, the workshop was a success! They all had fun and the hostess got great deals!
If you want to order any of these items, you can either click on my SU website link in the top corner of my blog or IF you want a workshop, please e-mail me so I can help you organize one!
Thanks and take care!

A Graduation Card
Hi-
My 2nd cousin graduated from Mililani High School this year and her graduation party was at the end of July. I made this cute card for her. I really didn't want to go with a graduation theme, so I used this sweet Tina Wenke stamp and made the congratulations sentiment in Mililani colors. I inadvertently did that, but what a great coincidence, so I'm calling it creative genius!
Anyway, she had a great party and I hope that she will be able to go to school soon.
Thanks for stopping by....take care!

I'm BAACK AGAIN!
Hello everyone-
I can't believe it's been a month since I last blogged. So sorry!
I was very busy planning our 2nd Annual Waipahu Cane Haul Run since I was race director, so things have been crazy hectic.
I also signed up as a Stampin Up Demonstrator and I had my first workshop in the beginning of August. Over the next week I'll be posting some things that I've worked on. I'm trying to get my creative juices flowing again and my mojo. So hopefully I'll find it soon.
First off though I wanted to do a delayed post of my July OCS and the terrific card that I received from McCine in Las Vegas!
As you know for July, Linda wanted to focus to be on words so I made this simple card (boy did I feel terrible for making this simple card when McCine created an amazing card for me!)
Anyway, I used this Helen Keller sentiment stamp that I got from Cute Stuff and then I used my nesties and Prima flowers that I got to decorate it. I hope she liked the card (sorry McCine that is was so simple! :(
And THIS is what I got in return- HOLY MOLEY! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SHUTTER CARD! It's full of inspiration and bling. I love it. She created it to help wish me luck w/ my new SU venture. Hopefully her card and well wishes will bring me business, but it DEFINITELY provided me w/ inspiration!
Anyway, that's it for now. Thanks for stopping by and I'm sorry that I've been away for so long!
