April OCS and Aloha RAK

Hello everyone-
It's FRIDAY! Hallelujah! I hope you are all well and have a great weekend planned. I have to go to my cousin's wedding on Saturday and still need to make her card. I was planning on having some friends over for crafting today, but since I cleaned up my living room last weekend, my craft room is now a mess so I still have to straighten up and also cut out the sets for them. I plan to have them over next Friday since it's another furlough.

Anyway, I participated in the April OCS and April Aloha RAK and I got the same person for both activities. Colleen Kwan made me this beautiful card using the 5th avenue floral impressions folder from SU and since I was still working on her stuff last weekend, I decided to use the same stamp set for her card and RAK.

I used the emboss resist technique again to create her card and I wish that the stamp set had 2 big roses instead of just one, but oh well, I guess they need to make the embossing template different otherwise you wouldn't buy that plus the stamp set :) Smart retailers! Anyway, I inked up the card using PTI hibiscus burst and addeded plum pudding accents to the middle of the flowers. I then covered a notepad for her and used the same flower from the stamp set as the accent image. I hope that she likes her gift set. I enjoyed making it for her.

  2. I had lots of fun making the card for you using the Fifth Aveue Floral embossing folder. I am glad that you like what I made for you.
I received your beautiful card and matching notepad on Friday. Thank you so much for both of them. I like them both very much. It's funny that we both ended up using the same same set for each other. :) It's interesting that I was your partner for the OCS and Aloha RAKS.
