May Aloha RAK

Hi everyone-
I wanted to post this today because hopefully by now my partner received her Aloha RAK!
I was lucky to have received an AMAZING RAK from Gail Woo- she's incredible and so generous!

She used her new SU tropical accessories to make this cute coconut cup and she included a paper umbrella to boot! I had a yummy chocolate bar in there also= that has since disappeared. Hmm? She then included these wonderful stamp sets which I will ink up shortly!

I was partnered w/ Christine in Michigan- I hope that she liked her handmade cards and I also included some mulberry flowers, a stamp and some stickers for her to use in future projects!

I made more watercolor flowers for her card and then I added sentiments from the SU Oval all stamp set. I hope she likes them and can use them!

Thanks for stopping by and happy HUMP day- Whoo hoo, it's a short week this week!

Awesome April RAK

Hi-
I received this Awesome April Aloha RAK from Jen Young- how lucky am I? The challenge this month was to make anything but a card, so she made me this awesome box and included this images- I have to practice coloring people now :)
She included the stamp of the same image she used for the box.

I am amazed at her coloring and talent! Thanks Jen!

April OCS and Aloha RAK

Hello everyone-
It's FRIDAY! Hallelujah! I hope you are all well and have a great weekend planned. I have to go to my cousin's wedding on Saturday and still need to make her card. I was planning on having some friends over for crafting today, but since I cleaned up my living room last weekend, my craft room is now a mess so I still have to straighten up and also cut out the sets for them. I plan to have them over next Friday since it's another furlough.

Anyway, I participated in the April OCS and April Aloha RAK and I got the same person for both activities. Colleen Kwan made me this beautiful card using the 5th avenue floral impressions folder from SU and since I was still working on her stuff last weekend, I decided to use the same stamp set for her card and RAK.

I used the emboss resist technique again to create her card and I wish that the stamp set had 2 big roses instead of just one, but oh well, I guess they need to make the embossing template different otherwise you wouldn't buy that plus the stamp set :) Smart retailers! Anyway, I inked up the card using PTI hibiscus burst and addeded plum pudding accents to the middle of the flowers. I then covered a notepad for her and used the same flower from the stamp set as the accent image. I hope that she likes her gift set. I enjoyed making it for her.
